There was a dinner for HOW (Husbands Out to Wives) at a local Toronto restaurant called Inspire in April, 2002. It was my job to host the darn thing!

Have to admit I had fun. You can see the highlights here, yes? A little dark brown, a little reddish brown, some blond -- and my own natural medium brown and, alas, a little grey.

DJ is a very special man who has provided a ton of emotional support for me in the past few months. If I ever find myself in trouble, I know I can count on him.

The first weekend of April, Stephen, a retired episcopal minister from New Mexico, came to stay with me for a few days. Yet another friendship that began on the net has blossomed into an incredibly warm and deep personal connection.

Trav, on the other end of the stage of life scale, is a fine young man who has shown great courage dealing with his own life issues. As if being a teenager isn't enough of itself! (This pic is from February, 2002.)
